bbk berlin supports the statement by the initiative "Kultur – Vielfalt – Heimat" (Culture – Diversity – Homeland) from Saxony-Anhalt. Under the guiding principle "Diversity is the foundation of our work and the standard of our values", the initiative stands up for an open, democratic cultural landscape.

As the professional association for approximately 3,000 visual artists in Berlin, we stand in solidarity with all those who defend these values. Diversity and openness are non-negotiable, they are the precondition for free artistic practice.
