bbk berlin supports WOMEN ART OPEN 2026

Throughout March 2026, Berlin will host the second edition of WOMEN ART OPEN—a citywide program that raises the visibility of female artists* in history and the present.

The bbk berlin supports this format and draws attention to it in order to make female artists* and their positions in Berlin's art scene more visible.

Organized by fair share! Sichtbarkeit für Künstlerinnen* (fair share! Visibility for Female Artists), the program comprises 54 art venues, around 40 exhibitions, and nearly 100 events, giving female artists past and present a greater presence. Almost 200 female artists will be presented on site, supplemented by digital archives with more than 500 positions.

Note: fair share! will also participate in the global women's strike ENOUGH! on March 9 with a performance at 1:00 p.m. at the central event at the Brandenburg Gate.
