09.01.2024 | New funding programs 2024 of the Stiftung Kunstfonds have been launched
The Stiftung Kunstfonds is announcing four new programs for the current funding year. Three programs are aimed at freelance visual artists. Art venues, collectives and freelance curators can apply for the KUNSTFONDS_Plattformen program. -> see also Open Calls
Please note that all funding programs are initially advertised under reserve until the 2024 federal budget is passed by the Bundestag and the associated reliable provision of the necessary funding. Please note that the application must be submitted in German.
KUNSTFONDS_Scholarship
is aimed at freelance visual artists, runs for six months and is endowed with 18,000 euros.
KUNSTFONDS_SoloProject
The program supports innovative, experimental processes and productions by individual freelance visual artists.
KUNSTFONDS_Publication
The program supports individual analogue and digital publications by freelance visual artists who apply for the grant themselves and only for their own work.
The application deadline for all three calls is 15.02.2024, midnight.
KUNSTFONDS_Platforms
The KUNSTFONDS_Plattformen program supports institutions and venues that present and communicate contemporary visual art. In addition, experimental-innovative concepts by collectives and solo curators are supported, which take place in analog/physical locations (platforms). Funding is available for projects lasting several months, including exhibitions, symposia, conferences or alternative formats.
The application deadline is 31.01.2024, midnight.
